Skunks must die.

Ok...I hate skunks.

I wanted one, descented of course, as a pet once. Now I hate them.

My house got skunked last night. Not a new phenom, as there are lots of skunks and stray cats that clash in the summer. However this felt like inside my house.

I was woken up from a sound sleep by it, and thought it was a gas leak. We evacuated the kids to the church and waited for the gas company to check it out.

Nope, skunk.

And now I have to go back in armed with air sanitiser and Febreeze before I can bring the kids back.

And to top it all off, my internet has been down for over a week while I change providers...I'm going freaking insane....ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

(and apparently there is nothing comparable to the little bastard skunk in Oz, so Miss Krin and the gang won't understand...the North Americans will commiserate though...)

New Addiction

Ok, for those of you who don't know about Facebook...

it is a networking website dedicated to what I can only describe as the 6 degrees of separation in practice.

Once you have a login, you search for friends...then look through their friends, and then their friends, and so on and so on.

I got an account a few months back, and didn't really do much with it. Then another friend sent me a message, and I started dicking around with it. WOW!! within about 3 hours, I had contacted high school friends, people I went to college with, conventions friends, work friends, Renn Faire buddies...and it isn't stopping. Each new friend I find I connect with someone else I know/knew. Hell, I'm so addicted I've been spending more time with Facebook that KoL...eeep!
